Moscow's construction industry is repositioning itself toward high-tech construction equipment from Asia, said Andrei Bochkalev, deputy mayor of Moscow, Russia, who is in charge of urban development policy and construction.  

He said 90 to 95 per cent of Moscow's building materials are now domestic, and the construction industry is studying alternatives to western microelectronics and automation systems, with Asian suppliers to look to in the future.
