The Moonbay Safety Panel System is designed for elevated flooring applications that require secure tile placement, easy access, 

and efficient maintenance. This guide outlines the step-by-step installation and inspection process to ensure a secure and clean 

surface without the need to break any paving tiles.

Installation Steps

Prepare the Pedestal System

   – Use Moonbay pedestal heads with 4mm spacer tabs for correct tile spacing.

Level the Surface

   – Insert the adjustment key into the head slot to fine-tune the height and ensure a level platform.

Place the Safety Panel

   – Position the Moonbay Safety Panel on the pedestal. The panel is pre-equipped with three adhesive tracks (perimeter, corner, 

and auxiliary) for added grip and stability.

Apply the Invisible Lock Disk

   – Place the stainless steel (SS) lock disk over the panel.

   – Rotate the disk to cover all four corners of the Safety Panel.

Secure the Safety Panel

   – Screw lock the panel through the center of the lock disk.

   – Insert the dedicated spacer tab into the middle hole of the disk to finalize positioning.

Install the Paving Tiles

   – Place each paving tile one by one, ensuring tight alignment around the secured safety panel.

Cleaning and Inspection Steps

Remove Spacer Tabs

   – Use Moonbay’s customized tool to hook and lift out the middle spacer tab.

Loosen Screws

   – Unscrew the center of the SS lock disk to begin releasing the panel.

Rotate and Release Corners

   – Rotate the lock disk to uncover the four panel corners.

   – Loosen screws at the remaining three corners and rotate the disk to release them.

Lift the Safety Panel and Tile

   – Carefully lift the paving tile and safety panel together without damage.

Clean the Subfloor Area

   – Remove trash or debris underneath the raised floor.

Reassemble the System

   – Place the safety panel and tile back in their original positions.

   – Rotate the SS lock disk to cover all corners again.

   – Screw lock the disk and reinsert the middle spacer tab.
